Ford Boss 6.2L V-8

Starting with the Workhorse 6.2L SOHC engine found in Base models of all Super Dutys, this engine provides 385 hp @ 5,750 rpm and 430 lb-ft @ 3,800 rpm, capable of towing 15,000lbs when properly configured and equipped.

All new 7.3 OHV PFI Gas V-8

It’s been more than 20 years since Ford updated the gasoline engines in its heavy-duty lineup. The new 7.3-liter is down a couple of cylinders, but just about everything else is bigger and better. Look for 430 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 475 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm, both of which Ford claims are best-in-class for gasoline V8s. The engine is set up to run on compressed natural gas, too. The engine uses overhead valves and a forged steel crank and is relatively compact, especially compared to Ford’s DOHC V8s. The idea was to keep it simple, durable and easy to maintain.

The Legendary 6.7 powerstroke gets a tune up!

The updated 2020 Power Stroke includes a new 36,000-psi fuel injection system with all-new injectors which can precisely meter and spray up to eight times per stroke to control noise levels and optimize combustion, essentially adding more pilot injection cycles. This will leave more on the table for power enhancement in an aftermarket aspect.The engine features a redesigned VGT turbocharger for improved efficiency and throttle response.  It also has a stronger block, connecting rods and bearings, and all new steel forged pistons. It is also worth noting that the new injector nozzles/fuel system modifications and exhaust improvements squeeze out 475 HP and 1,050LB/ft of torque!
